Merge Customers, Suppliers, Contacts, or Inventory Codes

Objective

Users sometimes make entries that, without their knowledge, create duplicates, meaning the same customer, supplier, contact, or even inventory code are given two different codes (customer, supplier, contact, or catalogue item). It is also possible that we want to modify the preexisting code number.

Merges allow to take all the information in a file and transfer them to another file. After the merger, the source code is automatically deleted.

Warning! During the merger, all transactions are taken into account; it is therefore impossible to perform a partial merger.

During the merger step, it is impossible to transfer transactions that affect the customer, supplier, contact, or inventory code file.
